Scope of the processing of personal data
1. Hosting of the website and creation of log files
Each time our website is accessed, our system automatically collects data and information from the computer system of the accessing computer.
The following data is collected:
- Information about the type of browser and the version used.
- The user’s operating system
- The user’s internet service provider
- The IP address of the user
- Date and time of access
- Websites from which the user’s system accesses our website
- Websites that are accessed by the user’s system via our website
The legal basis for the temporary storage of the data and the log files is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. The temporary storage of the IP address by the system is necessary to enable delivery of the website to the user’s computer. For this purpose, the IP address of the user must remain stored for the duration of the session. These purposes are also our legitimate interest in data processing according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. An evaluation of the data for marketing purposes does not take place in this context.
The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required to achieve the purpose for which it was collected. In the case of the collection of data for the provision of the website, this is the case when the respective session has ended.
2. contact form and e-mail contact
Our website has a contact form that can be used for electronic contact. If a user makes use of this option, the data entered in the input mask is transmitted to us and stored.
Alternatively, it is possible to contact us via the e-mail address provided. In this case, the user’s personal data transmitted with the e-mail will be stored. In this context, the data will not be passed on to third parties. The data is used exclusively for processing the conversation.
The legal basis for the processing of the data is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. Our legitimate interest lies in responding to the user’s enquiry. If the e-mail contact is aimed at concluding a contract, the additional legal basis for the processing is Art. 6 (1) lit. b DSGVO.
The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required to achieve the purpose for which it was collected.
3. Enabling the functionality of the website
We use so-called “cookies” on our websites. Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer and stored by your browser. By setting cookies, our web server can recognise your browser, your individual settings in our webs and, if applicable, parts of the login data in encrypted form, thus making it easier for you to use our pages and enabling automatic login.
The legal basis for this is our legitimate interest (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO) or § 15 para. 1 TMG.
4. Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to analyse website usage.
We use the Google Analytics product from Google Inc. for this purpose. The company Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street Dublin 4, Ireland) is responsible for all Google services for the European region. Google processes website usage data on our behalf and is contractually committed to measures to ensure the security and confidentiality of the data processed.
During your website visit, the following data may be collected, among others:
- Pages viewed
- The achievement of “website goals” (for example, contact requests and newsletter sign-ups)
- Your behaviour on the pages (e.g. length of stay, clicks, scrolling behaviour)
- Your approximate location (country and city)
- Your IP address (in anonymised form, so that no clear allocation is possible)
- Technical information such as browser, internet provider, terminal device and screen resolution
- Source of origin of your visit (i.e. via which website or advertising material you came to us)
- No personal data such as name, address or contact details are ever transferred to Google Analytics.
Google processes user data in the USA, among other places. We would like to point out that the same level of data protection cannot be guaranteed in the USA as within the EU.
Google Analytics stores cookies in your web browser for a period of two years since your last visit. These cookies contain a randomly generated user ID with which you can be recognised on future website visits.
The recorded data is stored together with the randomly generated user ID, which enables the evaluation of pseudonymous user profiles. This user-related data is automatically deleted after 14 months. Other data remains stored in aggregated form indefinitely.
The legal basis for the use of cookies for evaluation purposes is your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit.a DSGVO or § 15 para. 3 TMG. You can revoke or adjust your consent at any time with effect for the future.
5. Google Maps
We use Google Maps to ensure a comfortable user experience. Google Maps is a product of Google Inc. For the European area, the company Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street Dublin 4, Ireland) is responsible for all Google services. By integrating Google Maps, we are able to provide the most important information about our company headquarters and the user has the option of retrieving the best or fastest route to us. In order for Google Maps to be used in full, the following data is collected, among other things:
IP address
Latitude or longitude coordinators
If the user uses the route planning function, the starting address entered is also stored. We have no influence on this data storage because it is carried out on the Google Maps website.
Google processes user data in the USA, among other places. We would like to point out that the same level of data protection cannot be guaranteed in the USA as within the EU.
The legal basis for the use of Google Maps is the user’s consent in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a DSGVO. You can revoke or adjust your consent at any time with effect for the future.
Withdrawal of consent (Art. 7 para. 3 DSGVO)
If the processing is based on consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) lit. a DSGVO, the user has the right to revoke the consent at any time with effect for the future. For this purpose, the user can contact us via the contact options stated in the section “Person responsible”.
Right to object (Art. 21 DSGVO)
If the processing is based on our legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6 (1) lit. f DSGVO, the user has the right to object to the processing at any time for reasons arising from his or her particular situation. For this purpose, the user can contact us via the contact options specified in the section “Person responsible”.
Further data subject rights
The user may request information as to whether we are processing personal data relating to him or her. If this is the case, the user has the right to information about this personal data, as well as other information related to the processing (Art. 15 DSGVO). In the event that the user’s personal data are not (or no longer) accurate or incomplete, the user may request that these data be corrected and, if necessary, completed (Article 16 of the GDPR). Furthermore, the user can make use of his or her right to data portability (Art. 20 DSGVO). For this purpose, the user can contact us via the contact options stated in the section “Person responsible”.
Right of appeal
As a data subject, the user may lodge a complaint with the competent data protection supervisory authority pursuant to Article 77 (1) of the GDPR, without prejudice to further legal remedies, if the user believes that his or her rights have been violated by the processing of his or her personal data by the controller.
