The helicopter Agusta A109 of the VIP customer of SPAES GmbH & Co. KG obtained a new cabin interior. “The desired leather, carpets and relevant materials were selected by the customer in advance.” said Joachim Schanz, Chief Executive Officer O SPAES.
In cooperation with an aviation upholsterer SPAES removed the existing interior and the seats, panels and fairings were covered with the new parts. After completion of the covering, the installed parts and carpets were mounted into the helicopter by a Part 145 organization. The new interior was approved with a Minor Change, which was created in the EASA Part 21J design organization of SPAES. The Minor Change is valid for the Agusta helicopter A 109 E and will be provided with all necessary installation and operating documents.
Further Minor Changes for modification and exchange of interiors were carried out for various helicopters and are available on request.
