SPAES Asia Tour 2024: Strengthening Partnerships and Exploring New Opportunities

The SPAES Asia tour of June 2024 was a resounding success. It not only reinforced existing partnerships but also opened doors to new collaborations. The warm receptions, productive meetings, and cultural exchanges made the journey memorable and fruitful.

Jakarta, Indonesia: A Warm Welcome from PT Indonesia Defence Services

The first stop on the tour was Jakarta, Indonesia, where the SPAES team received a warm and friendly welcome from PT Indonesia Defence Services (IDS). Meeting in person really emphasized the importance of face-to-face interactions in building strong business relationships.

The agenda in Jakarta was packed with productive meetings, where both teams discussed ongoing projects and future plans. The highlight of the visit was a tour of IDS’s impressive hangar.

“We’re so grateful to the IDS team for their amazing welcome and the great conversations,” said Joachim Schanz. “The hangar tour was truly impressive, and we’re excited about the future and the milestones we’ll achieve together.”

Malaysia: New Beginnings with Galaxy Aerospace (M) Sdn. Bhd.

Next, the SPAES team headed to Malaysia to meet a new client, Galaxy Aerospace (M) Sdn. Bhd. The visit was full of excitement and the promise of new beginnings.

The meetings in Malaysia were super productive and set the stage for future collaboration. One memorable moment was a cultural exchange where both teams shared a hand gesture called the “Little Kiss.” This charming and unique gesture expressed friendliness and warmth and left a lasting impression on everyone.

“We’re really excited about working with Galaxy Aerospace,” said Joachim Kies. “The ‘Little Kiss’ gesture was such a delightful part of our visit and perfectly captured the warmth and friendliness we felt. We can’t wait to achieve great things together.”

Bangkok, Thailand: Exploring Opportunities with Kawasaki Heavy Industries Ltd.

The last stop on the tour was Bangkok, Thailand, where the SPAES team met with Kawasaki Heavy Industries Ltd. It was a fantastic opportunity for both companies to get to know each other and talk about potential projects. With its rich history and expertise, Kawasaki Heavy Industries is a great fit for SPAES.

The conversations in Bangkok were all about looking to the future and exploring different ways to work together. The excitement for upcoming projects was clear, and both teams were eager to combine their strengths.
