SPAES GmbH & Co. KG issued for the transport of VIP passengers a Minor Change for new cabin interior in an Airbus helicopter AS 350.
The selected materials of the interior equipment are aviation certified and meet the specifications of the fire safety regulations. An aviation saddler has implemented the renewal of seat covers, carpet, interior trim and the leather covers. The existing interior was removed and the seats and covers were refurbished with the new parts. The existing parts were used as a template for the manufacturing of the new parts. After completion, the refurbished parts were reinstalled into the helicopter by a Part 145 organization.
SPAES performed a Minor Change to verify the fire safety requirements and the safe installation of the new equipment. Further modifications and refurbishment of the interior have been carried out for other types of helicopters and are available on request.
